# Overview of Reports

Login to the dashboard and click on Reports from the left sidebar

Select Custom Alerts templates from the list of ready-to-use templates and click on "Use Template"

Click on Create Report

Provide the report name and click on Next

Select the slack channel or multiple channels where you want to receive an alert and click on Next.

Click on Create to create a new segment or choose the existing segment from the dropdown menu.

Once the segment is created, add a rule as per your requirements and click on Save Changes. Click on Next. 

For example: Click on the Desktop visitors button to add a basic rule with Device Type IS\_ONE\_OF Desktop

Click on Get real-time alerts to get an instant alert to the configured slack channel and click on Finish.

Visit your website and you can find an instant alert at the configured slack channel.
