Experience Page Paths

Once you have created an experience the next step is to add the page path/s which you wish to personalize. For example, if you wish to personalize the home page and pricing page then, you can personalize it out by adding both the pages in the same experience. CustomFit provides different options to add the page paths.

Page path is

Use this option if you wish to match the exact URL of the website page path you want to personalize. For example, if you want to personalize the pricing page then type the full URL https://customfit.ai/pricing in the input field.

To add the page path

Click on Add page paths

From the drop-down select, the "Page path is" option

Enter the exact URL of the website page path which you wish to personalize. Make sure you click on enter button once you type the URL

Click on Add button

Page path contains:

This option looks for whether the website page path contains the specified text. If it contains then personalization will be applied. Use this option if you have multiple page paths with the same text and you want to personalize all the page paths.

For example, if you wish to personalize all the page paths which contain blogs in the URL then in the input field enter the text which you want to check i.e., blogs. In the Reference page path field enter the full URL of one of the page paths so that you can edit it in the visual editor i.e., https://customfit.ai/blogs/growth-marketing. So the changes made to the above page path will be applied to https://customfit.ai/blogs/growth-marketing, https://customfit.ai/blogs/converion-rate-optimization, and so on.

To add the page path

Click on Add page paths

From the drop-down select, the "Page path contains" option

Enter the text which you wish the check whether the page path URL contains the entered text. Make sure you click on enter button once you type the text

Enter the exact URL of a page as the reference page path to open it in the visual editor. Make sure you click on enter button once you type the URL

Click on Add button

You cannot add multiple texts in the input field. For example, a website page path containing both blogs & marketing.

Page path regex:

Use this option if you wish to personalize the pages which have a specific pattern in the URL.

For example, if you wish to personalize all the comparison pages then in the input field enter the regex pattern to be matched in the URL i.e., \/comparisons\/.* which indicates all the comparison pages in the website should be personalized. In the Reference page path field enter the full URL of one of the page paths so that you can edit it in the visual editor i.e., https://customfit.ai/comparison/company1.

To add the page path

Click on Add page paths

From the drop-down select, the "Page path regex" option

Enter the regex which you wish to check whether the page path URL contains the entered regex. Make sure you click on enter button once you type the regex

Enter the exact URL of a page as the reference page path to open it in the visual editor. Make sure you click on enter button once you type the URL

Click on Add button

Pause personalization for a specific page

If you wish to pause the personalization for a specific page from an experience then, change the status from Live to Pause by clicking on the status icon of the respective page path.
